Welcome to First Baptist Church of Camanche. We exist to glorify God and enjoy Him forever! When you come here, you will hear sound bible preaching and teaching. You will engage in reverant worship to the Lord. You will also find people praying together.
The church was formed in some way in 1843. By 1851, the church was fully organized and a Pastor installed. God has been faithful to the church for 170+ years. God has kept the church from giving in to modern theological trends that usurp sound doctrine.

Jesus Christ, God’s only Son died that we might have new life. (NLT) You and I have sinned and fall short of eternal life. Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard. (NLY) Sin has brought us all death, but the gift of God has given us life. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” (NLT) Once we have received Christ and asked for forgiveness, Christ will help you as you receive power and new life. Revelation 3:20 “Look! Here I stand at the door and knock. If you hear me calling and open the door, I will come in, and will share a meal as friends.” (NLT)
Pastor Seth came to First Baptist Church officially in January 2020. His has been married to his wife Jewel since 2007 and they have 5 children. Pastor Seth was raised in a Christian home and came to faith at age 6. He felt the call to ministry during his high school years. He has worked in retail and was a marketing specialist for a non-profit. Pastor Seth preaches the Bible in an expositional or verse by verse way to draw out all the God intends through His Word. Seth is excited to be here and to join God in what He is doing in Camanche and the surrounding communities.
